Consul General Xie Yunliang met with Second Vice President of Zanzibar, Hon.Seif Ali Iddi on April 24th, 2014 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Diplomatic Relationships between China and Tanzania and exchanged views on further improving sister-city cooperation between Haikou City, Hainan Province and Zanzibar City.

Second Vice President,Hon Iddi expressed that since Tanzania and China set up diplomatic relationship 50 years ago, Chinese Side provided plenty of aids to Zanzibar which made a significant contribution to the economic and social development of Zanzibar. The Zanzibar Side deeply appreciated it. The relationship between Zanzibar and China has broad prospects for development and the Zanzibar Side will make joint efforts with China to further improve sister-city cooperation between Zanzibar City and Haikou City.
