Consul General Xie Yunliang met with Minister of Finance of Zanzibar Hon. Omar Mzee on May 5th, 2014. They exchanged views on the economic and technical cooperation between the two sides.
Mr. Xie introduced the process of ongoing Aid Projects by the Chinese Government and expressed that Chinese Side will cooperate closely with Zanzibar side to implement all the Projects that has been signed, also extend cooperation in the area of ocean, fishery and human resources to further improve the friendship relations between China and Zanzibar.
Mr. Mzee expressed that the Zanzibar Government and the People of Zanzibar cherish the friendship with China, and appreciated the aids from China in the past years. The Projects which has been implemented were needed to the Zanzibar. These Projects played great role on the economic and social development of Zanzibar. The Zanzibar Side will cooperate closely with Chinese Side to implement all the signed projects and improve the cooperation in other fields.
